- Open Main Velcro closure
- Open tension straps and lay out support
- Put on the brace like a vest and pull down, adjusting shoulder straps so that support will be on hips
- The bottom of the support should be at the tailbone for proper placement
- Secure main Velcro closure snugly over abdomen
- Secure both tension straps to desired amount of pressure
